Youth and Children's Choirs
With three youth choral choirs and two youth hand bell/chime choirs, there is definitely something for everyone at the First Congregational Church of Redlands.
The youth choirs, led by Julie Michaels, are broken down into three different age ranges, with youth music available from age four through high school. These youth choirs perform on a regular basis (1 to 2x monthly) in the main sanctuary service and annually present two full musicals. Our Christmas 2006 musical was taken from the well-known book, The Tale of Three Trees. The story shared the message of God’s plan for our lives. The spring musical (held in June 2007), Living Inside Out had songs of joy that told of the importance to live from the inside with a heart of the Lord. This show included a ribbon/liturgical dance, choreographed basketball dance and lots of fun music!
Youth music continues during the summer with our Vacation Bible School program offered every Sunday from 10 – 11 a.m., July 15th through September 2, 2007. Rehearsals for our fall/winter music will begin Sunday, October 7, 2007 at 11 a.m. We would love to have you join us!
